Founder Alex Domini moved to Washington, DC from New York City in 2021 and quickly became one of the city’s most sought-after tour guides. He has delivered tours to thousands of guests and served as Ground Operations Manager for the internationally renowned Walks | Devour brand. He knows what makes tours exceptional… and what makes them exhausting.

Alex saw that tour attendees valued flexibility, warmth, and someone who knows when it’s time for a snack break and a laugh. He witnessed countless guests that wanted to deep dive into a subject, but had to move on in order to appease the group at large. 

And so… Friends in DC was born.
